A tour of the California water system was conducted as a cooperative effort between the University of California, Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the Department of "Medi Ambient" of the Generalitat of Catalonia. The tour highlights the similarities between Catalonia and California and California's approach to solving their problems.  For more information click here.

Catalonia established a Master's degree in city and regional planning through a cooperative agreement between the Generalitat of Catalonia, the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and the Pompeu Fabra University.  The University of California has input into this program through the Institute of Urban and Regional Development at UC Berkeley.  For more information click here.
